• ASEAN Futsal Championships 2013:Viet Nam defeats Philippines

    Yesterday ( October 21st), the group A’s second round of ASEAN Futsal Championships 2013 happened with two matches: Thailand vs Brunei and Viet Nam vs Philippines. In the former game, the host Thailand won 8-1 over Brunei. In the later, Viet Nam had an easy win over Philippines. In 5th minute, captain Bao Quan opened for Viet Nam by an excellent shoot on sideways.  In the advance, Viet Nam scored continuous 6 goals in the first half from Hoang Vinh ( 6th minute), Bao Quan ( 10th minute), Van Vu ( 12th minute) and Quynh Toan ( 15th and 16th minute).

    Whereas Philippines also scored a goal in 9th minute from Pasilan. Entering the second half, Viet Nam kept putting pressure under opponents and we scored more 3 goals from Van Vu, Quynh Toan, Tuan Vu. The games ended with 10-1 score, however Viet Nam unluckily accepted Xuan Du’s injury in the middle of second half. Xuan Du was taken to the hospital, nevertheless he will be absent in the next games.

    At 16h00 today ( October 22nd), Viet Nam will face Brunei who is asserted not too much strong. If Viet Nam gains 3 points after this game, Coach Sergio and his men will have many opportunities to win the semi final ticket.
