Song Lam Nghe An has signed a contract with Dutch striker Koen Bosma, as the team readies to compete in the Toyota V-League 2015.

The 24-year-old previously played for different clubs, including AHFC Haarlem and AZ Alkmaar in his home country. With Alkmaar, Bosma had the opportunity to play in the Europa League.

He has scored 29 goals.

Last year, he played for Phnom Penh Crow in Cambodia, scoring one goal in the two matches that he was on the field.

Former champion Song Lam Nghe An faced difficulties when coach Nguyen Huu Thang and the key striker said goodbye at the end of last season.

Coach Ngo Xuan Truong, who has never been in the “hot seat” before, was asked to take charge of the team.

In the first V-League round match, Song Lam Nghe An will host Hai Phong on Sunday.
