Hồ Chí Minh City Football Club have organized the starting ceremony for 2020 season on Lê Duẩn street in the atmosphere of new year welcoming with the presence of leaders of HCMC Sports and Culture Department together with the coaching board and players of the club.

HCMC FC finished 2019 season as the runners-up of V-League, with National Cup’s Bronze Medal and the qualification to play at international competitions organized by AFC and AFF. This is a challenge but either a necessary rite of passage for the club to realize their professionalization goal and improve their quality.

Mr.Huỳnh Thanh Nhân – Director of HCMC’s Sports and Culture Department – stated: “With the achievements in 2019, together with the attention of leaders at all levels of the city, HCMC FC with the force improvement for the new season have to show their noble sport spirit and their sacrifice towards high achievements in domestic and international competitions, and continue to build the club’s image to be worthy as a spiritual asset, a pride of the city’s residents.”

Mr.Lư Đình Tuấn – An Assistant Coach of HCMC FC – being the one who represents the club’s coaching board and has accepted missions from leaders of HCMC’s Sports and Culture Department – targets HCMC FC to be one of the three strongest teams in V-League 2020, to make their best efforts in competitions organized by AFC, AFF, simultaneously building a solidary collective towards a professional football model so as to satisfy the expectation and trust of HCMC leaders as well as  of fans”.

With careful investment and preparation, the spirit to offer the highest determination and sacrifice of the whole club, together with the in-time encouragement from leaders of HCMC People’s Committee, HCMC’s Sports and Culture Department and sponsors, fans have the right to believe in a new successful season with full of dedication of HCMC FC.
