    Achievements that football squads from Ho Chi Minh City reached in 2012.

    ♦  V – League: Saigon Xuan Thanh ranked third-place, Navibank Saigon ranked seventh-place and has been transferred  to another owner.

    ♦  Division I: HCMC Football club relegated to Division II.

    ♦  Division II: Saigon Youth and HCMC Youth competed in Division II.

    ♦  U21 squad: Navibank Saigon competed in the qualifying round of The Youth Newspaper U21 Tournament.

    ♦  U19 squad: Men Navibank Saigon competed in the final round of National U19 tournament Kova Cup. HCMC Women Football team ranked third-place at the National U19 tournament in Ha Nam.

    ♦  U17 squad: HCMC U17 squad competed in group B qualifying round in Gia Lai.

    ♦  U15 squad: PVF team became the champions of the National U15 final round Hyundai Vinashin Cup 2012 in HCMC.

    ♦  U13 squad: U13 VPF won the National Youth tournament Yamaha Cup in Ninh Thuan and represented for Vietnam to attend Jubilo Cup 2012 in Japan on 20/8/2012.

    ♦  U11 squad: HCMC was eliminated from the quarter final round of the National children tournament Yamaha Cup 2012 in Vinh Phuc.

    ♦ National Phu Dong sports Festival in Can Tho, some squads entered the final round:

    – Men elementary school team ranked second-place.
    – Women high school team ranked second-place.
    – Men secondary school team ranked third-place.
