On May 31st, Thăng Long Summer Football Camp 2019 was kicked off at Lê Minh Xuân stadium (Bình Chánh district, HCMC). The program was organized by Thăng Long Football Club with the hope to incubate football dream of children in the city.

The Thăng Long Summer Football Camp 2019 takes place in 3 phases: Phase 1 from May 31st to June 11th, Phase 2 from June 21st to July 1st, and Phase 3 from July 19th to July 27th.

Little trainees get internal and friendly games

In the program, pupils will carry out activities at Lê Minh Xuân stadium under the supervision and support from coaches. Accordingly, the pupils will be instructed with basic football professional techniques methodically. Besides, the coaching staff will also hold training sessions on psychology of the pupils’ ages, nutrition in sports, world football history.

In addition, the trainees will also visit the city’s historical sites: Láng Le – Bảu Cò (hamlet 1, Tân Nhựt commune, Bình Chánh district) and make their own writing on their feeling about the sites. They will also have internal competitions and friendly games. Especially, the children will experience professional football with the role as welcoming boys before a V-League 2019 match at Thống Nhất stadium.

Moreover, supportive sports for the pupils to entertain will be offered either, including table tennis, table football, badminton, chess, etc. Through the program, the pupils will know about collective living style, be more independent in individual activities as well as learn more about necessary living skills beside their football dream.

This is the 5th time the program is organized, proving its trust to parents with the participation of over 100 trainees every year.

Mr.Nguyễn Thành Nam – Director of Nam Thăng Long Sports Company – the organizer – said that the Thăng Long Summer Football Camp 2019 expects to be an useful and wholesome playground for children who love football after studying during the year, through which they can exchange, share experiences in studying as well as improve their football aptitude, living skills and communication skills.
