Mr.Yusuke Adachi – the new Technical Director of VFF – has affirmed to take advantage of his experience for contributions to the development of Vietnam youth football.

After finishing a 14-day quarantine, Mr.Yusuke Adachi officially undertook his duties on September 3rd.

Talking about his responsibilities to the media recently, Mr.Yusuke Adachi revealed that he is very excited to start his job at VFF. The new Technical Director from Japan simultaneously affirmed that he will definitely take advantage of his experience to contribute to youth football in Vietnam.

 About the orientation for Vietnam youth football development in the upcoming time, the excellent coach of AFC stated: “With the role of a Technical Director, I will need to pay attention to different aspects. Possessing excellent players has a significant influence on the achievements of national teams.

For the football of a nation to develop well, it is necessary to have talented players, and to this, we need to have quality coaches together with a good development environment. Therefore, I think we should start with coach and youth football training courses, including occasional football. We cannot do this in a short period, thus, this must be a long-term plan”.

Besides, the Japanese director also asserted that he gets a lot of conveniences when working in Vietnam because there is a high potential for Vietnamese young players to develop to a greater level.

“I am so happy to come and work in Vietnam. The most convenient thing for me here is the huge potential of young players. Those used to join in some of my training courses before have high abilities. Just one month after joining in the courses, they saw such significant advances. Players and coaches in Vietnam have high development potential. Thus, I believe that I will be able to gain certain achievements.” – he added.

With a strong background in football training – 15 years teaching in low-grade to professional coach training courses held by Japan football federation – as well as duty completions in major competitions, Mr.Yusuke Odachi is expected to assist Vietnam youth football to obtain further development in the upcoming time.
