V.League 1 reopens after long break
Go Dau and Hang Day will be the focus of V.League 1’s first leg of the last round this weekend.
Nearly two months had been off for players since the league was paused in May for players to join national teams.
In the South, defending champions BecamexBinh Duong will play phenomenon Hoang AnhGia Lai, while in the North, powerhouse T&T Ha Noi will welcome Can Tho.
Go Dau will host most of the national stars such as top national striker Le Cong Vinh and well-known players Nguyen Trong Hoang, Mai TienThanh, and Nguyen PhuocTu of the home team.
Hot names, including Nguyen Cong Phuong, Nguyen Tuan Anh, and LuongXuan Truong, of the visitors who drove the country crazy in the past two years will be present too.
Binh Duong are in good form for V.League 1, which returns after a long break. They will just warm up with two wins at the National Cup event.
In this match, they will present Simic Marko from Croatia who will make a perfect pair with SeneganCheikhAbassDieng, one of the leading scorers on the front line.
While Binh Duong plan to retain their title, Hoang AnhGia Lai will try to avoid relegation.
Coach Guillaume Graechen of Hoang AnhGia Lai confirmed their target on Wednesday.
Hoang AnhGia Lai are near the bottom of the table, with a good number of their members exhausted and injured after SEA Games.
They have also made some changes in the lineup, with U23 midfielder Bui Tien Dung and strikers Clovis Franklin and SanogoMoussa.

End of 2015 national women’s football tournament – Thai Son Bac Cup: Ho Chi Minh women’s football club crowned championship
In the final round of tournament, both TNG Thai Nguyen and Phong Phu Ha Nam are still not hurry in beginning of games. Both played slowly and not many chances are created.

Vietnam women’s football team win berth in semis
Viet Nam have qualified for the semi-finals of the Asian Football Confederation’s U14 Girls’ Regional Championship for the ASEAN zone
The hosts defeated Malaysia 5-3 yesterday to top Group B with six points.
Nguyen Thi Thu Hien scored the first hat trick of the competition, between an opener by Nguyen Thi Thu Huong at the second minute and Ngan Thi Van Su at the 13th mark.
Malaysia narrowed the result with three goals by Nor Shahira, Anis Aishah, and Alice Mic Michael.
In an earlier match, the Philippines came from behind to win 3-1 over Singapore.
In today’s matches, Viet Nam will face Singapore, while Myanmar will play the Philippines.
In the Group A action, Thailand struggled to beat Cambodia 1-0, partly due to a heavy rain, which strongly affected players’ abilities.
Anupha Noinueai scored the only goal of the match, with a shoot to the far corner of goalie Phoeur Thou in the 15th minute after interval.
In another match, Myanmar trounced Laos 4-1.
U17s set to show skills in HCM City
The National U17 Football Championship Final will kick off in HCM City on June 30.
Eight teams have passed the qualification round and will join the hosts, HCM City, in the tournament.
They are divided into two teams to play at Thong Nhat and District 8 stadiums, according to a press briefing held at Ha Noi on Jun 25.
Participants will compete in a round robin format in the group stage and two best teams will advance to the semi-finals.
Winners will be awarded VND100 million (US$4,500). The organisers of the event will present bonuses for the best player, best scorer, and best goalie.
The opening, semi-final, and final matches will be aired live on VTV3 channel.

2015 national women’s football tournament – Thai Son Bac Cup: Ho Chi Minh football team to win first title
Having gained 1 point over the present champion Ha Noi I in the evening of June 26th at Ha Nam gymnasium, Ho Chi Minh women;s football team has officially won the championship of 2015 national women’s football tournament – Thai Son Bac Cup.

Thus, this is the first time after 5 years, Ho Chi Minh women’s football team has won the championship. Having gained 29 points less than Ho Chi Minh women’s football team one point, Ha Noi I has been not the champion of this title. Ho Chi Minh players entered game excitingly against Ha Noi I.

National women’s football tournament – 2015 Thai Son Bac Cup will end with last round on June 26th and June 27th. This round has been attractive much. Because the championships will be defined after the final game between Ha Noi I and Ho Chi Minh City.

Hattrick by Tai Em gives Long An win
Phan Van Tai Em, the former national midfielder, scored a hattrick in Dong Tam Long An 4-2 win over Dong Nai during the National Cup quarter-finals yesterday, June 24.
On top: Phan Van Tai Em is carried by his teammates after scoring one of his hattrick in Dong Tam Long An’s 4-2 win over Dong Nai in the National Cup.
As the hosts, Dong Tam Long An quickly set up their domination and constantly attacked Dong Nai who, surprised observers by advancing this far in the Cup.
The opener came after a series of threatening chances were wasted when Em converted Vo Nhat Tan’s pass from the left wing into a goal at the 37th minute.
Both sides made changes in the second half, with a view to score turning points.
Dong Nai were successful first, with a leveller at the 63rd minute following a counter-attack.
Also, striker Christian Jose Amougou Nsi beat Dong Tam Long An goalie Nguyen Huynh Quoc Cuong with a straight shoot.
But the hosts went ahead for the second time just six minutes later, as Em scored his second goal from a narrow-angle shoot. He completed his hattrick at the 72nd mark.
Nsi made it 2-3, but the Cameroon player could not alone save his team from failure when Nguyen Thanh Hai added another goal to the hosts’ bag.
Dong Tam Long An will play against Becamex Binh Duong in the semi-finals on August 5.
Binh Duong yesterday beat Song Lam Nghe An 2-1.
Playing with their best players, Binh Duong did not see many difficulties, although they were on the away field at Vinh Stadium, one of the most aggressive venues around the country.
With many members trained and having played for Song Lam Nghe An in the past, Binh Duong well understood their rivals.
They scored the opening goal 20 minutes into the match, with captain Nguyen Anh Duc’s powerful header.
After great effort, Song Lam Nghe An made it 1-1 following the interval, when captain Nguyen Quang Tinh was successful with his penalty shootout.
However, the fans in the stands could not be happy for long, as Binh Duong was also awarded a penalty, which was converted into a goal by Cheikh Abass Dieng.
Hai Phong came from behind to defeat SHB Da Nang 2-1 to continue their route and defend their title.
Pham Nguyen Sa scored the only goal for the hosts in the first half, while Steven made a double for the guests in the second.
In the semi-final, Hai Phong will meet Ha Noi T&T who yesterday beat Hoang Anh Gia Lai 2-0 during a heavy rain.
