Boss Doan Nguyen Duc let his beloved players to play V-League

The Boss Doan Nguyen Duc had claimed that he would not allow his players from HA-GL Arsenal JMG to play V- League because he scared that the Vietnam football environment would spoil them. However U-19 players were suddenly nominated to play in HA-GL in V-League 2015.

Boss Duc hoped he could train talented players when opening HAGL Arsenal JMG, so that those players could be sold for Asian or European clubs. However, this U-19 generation who will graduate in the end of this year are facing with outputting.

After training trips as well as foreign tournaments in Europe, the whole team failed because no player was detained. Cong Phuong, Xuan Truong, Tuan Anh, Dong Trieu were on probation of Arsenal’s young team however they then all had to come back. Japan trip also met same difficulties.

Not only boss Duc but also U-19 players felt worried about their future. Therefore, players asked Boss Duc to play in V-League so that their skills will be improved. And he agreed after considering carefully to change youth in HAGL.

Boss Duc now believed that his players will not affected with vietnam football environment. Thus Dong Trieu, Van Toan, Tuan Anh, Cong Phuong …will play V-League 2015. And former players as Quy Suu, Anh Tuan, Thai Duong, Sakda, Duc Duong, Van Nhien, Van Pho…who will end contract with HAGL in September are announced to find another club.

Chelsea beat Leicester to complete win double over new boys

Chelsea scored a second successive win over a newly-promoted side when they beat Leicester City 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday thanks to second-half goals from Diego Costa and Eden Hazard.

Chelsea started the season with a 3-1 win at last season’s Championship (second division) runners-up Burnley on Monday and Saturday’s win over winners Leicester gave Jose Mourinho’s men six points after a much improved second-half performance against the resilient visitors.

Swansea City also have six points from their opening two games after a first-half Nathan Dyer goal gave them a 1-0 win over Burnley at the Liberty Stadium.

West Ham United picked up their first points with a 3-1 win at managerless Crystal Palace thanks to two first half goals in three minutes from Argentine debutant Mauro Zarate and Stewart Downing, and a second half volley from Carlton Cole.

Marouane Chamakh scored for Palace before Cole’s third for the Hammers but the Eagles have now lost both their opening games following their 2-1 loss at Arsenal last week.

In the other games Aston Villa drew 0-0 with Newcastle United and Southampton were held to a 0-0 draw at home by West Bromwich Albion.

This year, the tournament will last from August 20th to August 29th which includes 6 teams: district 8; Tao Dan district 1, Pou Yuen Vn, Passion SGFC, U&I company, Team Ghosts. They will compete and rank in round.

The opening game between district 8 and Team Ghosts  was exciting. District 8 has won 4-3 over opponent. Moreover, the game between Tao Dan district 1 and Passion SGFC, district 1 has easily won opponents 6-1.

Viet Nam through to football final

 Le Van Son scored the only goal in Viet Nam’s 1-0 win over Thailand in the second semi-final match of the ASEAN Youth Football Championship in Brunei yesterday.

Son took the ball from a narrow angle in the right wing before making the shot, which first touched three Thai players, including the goalkeeper, before swishing into the net at the 72nd minute.

The Vietnamese, who was sent in to play against the 10-man Thai team from the 51st minute, would have scored more if not for the team striker, who wasted numerous scoring opportunities in the first half.

In the first semi-final match, Myanmar defeated Malaysia 3-0. Viet Nam will play Myanmar in the final match on Saturday.

In other football news, Viet Nam pulverised hapless East Timor with a whopping 19-0 victory on the third day of the ASEAN Football Federation U19 Women’s Championship at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok yesterday.

The win allowed Viet Nam to take over the lead in the standings from Thailand, who had an off-day yesterday. Viet Nam will face Thailand tomorrow.

Vietnam Futsal team to prepare for South East Asian Futsal 2014

Last weekend, Vietnam national futsal team has gathered at Thai Son Nam sports center district 8. This occasion, Coach Bruno Jose Garcia Formoso has called 27 members among them 14 members were from Thai Son Nam and 13 remained players were from other internal teams.

According to Coach Bruno Jose Garcia Formoso, he wanted the whole team to gain strong physical strength, then he would concentrate on tactics and effective shooting skills.

As planned, from September 1st to September 9th team will spend internal training course, then they will train in Thailand. From September 10th to September 16th, Vietnam national futsal team will continue training in Thai Son Nam gymnasium before announcing the last squad to play at AFF futsal champs 2014 from September 17 to 28th in Malaysia .

Under pressure of winning U-21 Cambodia to play in semi finals, U-19 Vietnam players have showed their higher class performance to win 3-0 over opponents to take the top place of group.

U-19 Vietnam are cheerful with their goals

U-21 Cambodia has been supplied three players over 22 years old as rule, Cambodia is considered as a tough opponent. They have won 3 matches and lost only one, U-21 Cambodia was standing above U-19 Vietnam, U-19 Indonesia and U-21 Singapore. Therefore, U-19 Vietnam must win 3 points in this facing.

Coach Graechen applied the strongest squad, however U-19 Vietnam entered game carefully. U-21 Cambodia also showed that they are organized and disciplined, thus game was equal and there was not many chances for both. Until 31st minute, Tan Tai opened for U-19 Vietnam after Xuan Truong’s clever passing.

Vietnam players played more confidently, in 43rd minute, Tan Tai scored one more goal from Cong Phuong’s passing. U-19 Vietnam was getting controlling game. Cong Phuong continuously missed chances. Van Long timely scored 3-0 goal for Vietnam before game end.

This victory has brought U-19 Vietnam semi-finals ticket. Moreover, U-21 Malaysia lost 1-2 against U-21 Brunei that let U-19 Vietnam stand at top of group. U-19 Vietnam will face U-19 Thailand in semi finals.

Hai Phong to win national Cup

Having defeated present champions of V-League 2014 B Binh Duong, Hai Phong excellently won the national Cup 2014.

B-Binh Duong was higher examined than Hai Phong. Because they have gained 49 points meanwhile Hai Phong only gained 21 points when standing at 11th position. B Binh Duong is decisive to win cup in 2014 for awards. Hai Phong also desired title in this season.

Hai Phong started confidently when they are cheered up by more than 15 000 audiences. Hai Phong attacked B Binh Duong that caused them much troubles. Hai Phong missed many chances till 8th minute, the host has an opening from Van Thuan.

B Binh Duong quickly awoke than they gradually controlled game. Hai Phong under Binh Duong’s pressure revealed weakness. However B-Binh Duong players also missed easy chances. In 75th minute, Fagan scored 2-0 goal for Hai Phong.

Coach Le Thuy Hai and his men couldn’t gain title as well as lose 3 billion. Hai Phong in contract is holding a brighter future.

Referee Nguyen Trong Thu retain “Golden whistle”

Referee Nguyen Trong Thu officially won title of golden whistle 2014 after having passed two opponents. Assistant Pham Manh Long was elected to be the best ones.

After 2014 season, there are three nominates for golden whistle prize. All of them are qualified of having worked at least 12 games in tournaments, without ban, …Vo Quang Vinh, Nguyen Trong Thu and Hoang Anh Tuan.

The assistant prize’s nominates: Nguyen Trung Hau, Nguyen Vu Hai and Pham Manh Long. Especially, since 2014, only one referee and one assistant will receive golden whistle prize and the best assistant. The votes will be sent for VFF, referee, journalists, VPF,..

Referee Vo Quang Minh has won 111 points when Vo Quang Minh only won 63 points and Hoang Anh Tuan won only 15 points.Anh the prize of assistant belonged to Pham Manh Long who had won with 123 votes.

Having defeaed HV-An Giang 3-0 , Can Tho won ticket to play in V-League 2015.

Tay Do players had prepared well for this play off game. HV An Giang showed their tiredness after troubles.Therefore HV An Giang players played slowly. Can Tho’s midfielders Hai Duong and Nguyen Rogerio had created many dangerous situation toward An Giang. However, after having missed many chances. the first half ended without goal.
