3rd round of 2013 national Futsal: Sana Khanh Hoa and Thai Son Nam’s won
After two rounds, Sana Khanh Hoa and Thai Son Nam have shown their absolute power in Group A when they have won two consecutive important won over respectively Van Hien Dong Thap and Asia Khanh Hoa.
With many young players Thai Son Nam line-up is identified as candidate for champion.
Two representatives from Nha Trang beach city had to face each other in the 2nd round of Group A. The final result after the official 40 minutes, the predecessor Sana Khanh Hoa won with 4-2 score. However, Asia Khanh Hoa deserved to be praised for their spirit. Because this is the first time they joined in national Futsal tournament, but they have left a strong impression with high determination and flexible play. The point is that Asia Khanh Hoa’s only weak point is experience in confrontation with strong team at the most crucial moments.
The second confrontation of Group A, Thai Son Nam has won 3-1 over Van Hien Dong Thap. Despite VHDT’s having play so hard, Thai Son Nam’s superior level and proficiency helped them get two goals in the first half. Maintaining total force attacking play in the second half, Thai Son Nam’s Tien Phat increased score to 3-0. All the efforts of Van Hien Dong Thap were rewarded with a goal of honor shorten the lead to 1-3. Gaining 6 points after the first two rounds, Sana Khanh Hoa and Thai Son Nam have big chance to go through semifinal.
The remained match between Hoang Thu Da Nang and Dat Vinh Tien was very attractive and dramatic. Dat Vinh Tien took control of the game; however Hoang Thu Da Nang was the opener. In 18th minute from a swift counterattack Ngoc Thien scored an open for Hoang Thu Da Nang. In the beginning of the second half, Van Phuc doubled score for the Hoang Thu Da Nang. Dat Vinh Tien raised team up to reduce the gap, however after missing consecutive opportunities; Dat Vinh Tien had to pay by the third goal against. However, Dat Vinh Tien was finally awarded an honor goal which came from 1-3 shorten goal of Cong Toan

Opening 2013 national Futsal championship: exciting and dramatic
On the afternoon of May 11th, the opening ceremony of 2013 national Futsal championship has been taken placed with 12 participants.
In the first leg of group A, new recruit Van Hien Dong Thap unexpectedly won over a strong Dat Vinh Tien. In the remained game of opening day, Thai Son Nam has self-asserted their class when defeating Asia Khan Hoa.
Mr.Ngo Le Bang- secretary general of the Vietnam Football Federation gave opening speech.

Though this was the first time Van Hien Dong Thap took part in the national Futsal championship, representatives of Dong Thap Muoi had an impressive debut by gianing first three points against Dat Vinh Tien. Dong Thap Van Hien’s 3-2 victory was contributed with Tran Hoang Tay’s remarkable hat-trick.In opposite Vinh Thai scored two goals for Dat Vinh Tien.
The other confrontation between Thai Son Nam and Khanh Hoa Asia was extremely exciting and dramatic. In the 12th minute in a quick counter-attack Trang Thien opened score 1-0 for Thai Son Nam. However, Thai Son Nam’s joy lasted only 6 minutes when Minh Nhut equalized 1-1 for Asia Khanh Hoa 1-1.With strong defensive play; Futsal representative from coastal city has skillfully conquered Thai Son Nam. Consequently, Thai Son Nam stuck in stalemate that caused them to make faukt to Asia Khanh Hoa so many times.

However, Thai Son Nam’s effort was rewarded in the last minutes of game. In 40th minute, captain Bao Quan passed ball back to Van Vu who rose score to 2-1 that set Thai Son Nam’s won. In the remained match between Hoang Thu Da Nang and Khanh Hoa Sana, despite trying hard, Hoang Thu Da Nang had been defeated 0-2 by Sana Khanh Hoa. On the afternoon of May 12th Group B will taken place: Sanatex Khanh Hoa – Metasol; Thai Son Bac – Kim Toan Da Nang; Tan Hiep Hunh- An Phuoc Binh Thuan.

Roberto Mancini faces sack as Manchester City owners lose faith
Roberto Mancini is to be sacked as the Manchester City manager, with the Italian’s tenure set to end before the club’s post-season tour to the United States and possibly this week.

With City pursuing Manuel Pellegrini, the Málaga coach, as their preferred replacement, Mancini cut a troubled figure following Saturday’s 1-0 FA Cup final loss to Wigan. Then he railed at the club for not killing the stories regarding Pellegrini, an illustration of the Italian’s brusque style, one which has not endeared him to players or some members of staff.
This and other factors have caused the club’s Abu Dhabi executives to lose confidence in Mancini, who was handed a five-year contract last summer after a first title in 44 seasons. The Italian has struggled to build on that success, with his team being eliminated from the Champions League in the group stages, then losing their league title to Manchester United and finally going down in the FA Cup final.
Mancini revealed the pressure he was under with a bizarre performance following the Wigan loss, when he rounded on his communications executive, Vicky Kloss, during an often contradictory briefing. Asked when he would be told that his job was safe, the manager said: “I don’t know, for me nothing will happen. I don’t need to talk about me and my future, I have a four-year contract. It’s true that every contract can be broken but I don’t think they need to talk about me.”
Mancini felt the club should have killed the speculation. “The people, Vicky, the other people who work for the press [office], I don’t know why they don’t stop this rubbish. You wrote this for the six months, and for the last two weeks. It’s too much. I don’t understand why. For football I talk and I take responsibility in the press. For this you need to talk to Vicky and the other people. If it’s true, it will be true. I don’t know. For me, I am happy to work for Manchester City. I’m happy with my job, I’m happy about what we did in three years. I am disappointed now that we lost this game.”
Why had Mancini not requested anyone at the club try to quell the flow of negative information? “It’s not my job,” he replied. “Also, last year, it was the same – no one did nothing about this. I am used to seeing these things in football. For us it was important to play in this final – one cup is important because before we hadn’t won for a long time.”
“I think that we need to work hard as a squad. When you start to win trophies maybe you can think you are the best team. It is not true. You need to work harder and harder. After, also the people who worked with us around the team, they are not strong enough for this job. Also them they should improve. I am strong because my back is very strong and I don’t have any problems with this. But I think that together we should improve.”
Pellegrini said: “As regards my future, I have not spoken to anyone. We will wait and see what happens at the end of the season.”

2013 V-League round 9 review: B.Binh Duong’s return, SLNA’s down
2013 V-League round 9 is witnessed the returns of two giant Ha Noi T&T and B.Binh Duong who had gain important wins. In contrary to, SLNA has showed its sign to down when Coach Huu Thang’s men got two consecutive failures from the beginning of this season.

Thanh Hoa players deserved with their won over neighbor SLNA. Impressive play adding with enthusiastic cheers from home crowd, Thanh Hoa team created many dangerous attacks toward SLNA. However, Thanh Hoa fans had to wait until 54th minute when Abass scored for the host to joy a real goal. Coach Huu Thang and players has affirmed their strength when Kavin equalized1-1 right 5 minutes later the host’s leading goal. Thanh Hoa raised line up to attack for a win and their efforts were rewarded with Xuan Tu’s goal in 66th minute. In spite of SLNA’s effort in remained period time of this game,Thanh Hoa prevented SLNA from an equalizing, SLNA had to leave the neighborhood pointlessly.

However the “brick” showed a poor play style that would push them down to league one Viet Nam if there’s no change. B.Binh Duong has been back to the race when they had a comeback 1-2 successfully against Dong Nai at Bien Hoa stadium. This win not only helped Coach Hai’s men out the penultimate position on table. Three points will be a strong motivation for B.Binh Duong to be back to the race for 2013 V – League championship.

The capital’s team has stood in the top 4 after this won. The most important factor is that releases Ha Noi T&T from stress and cut off series of defeated games.
