Vietnam win U14 regional champs

Viet Nam beat defending champions Thailand 2-1 in the final to win the Asian Football Confederation U14 Girls’ Regional Championship at the Youth Football Training Centre in Ha Noi yesterday.

The result was a surprise for both fans and experts because Thailand were appreciated better than the hosts in this tournament.
“Luck is a major factor in football competitions. Today, Viet Nam found good luck. I do not mean that we didn’t deserve this victory. But, on the contrary, my players made all the efforts.
“They overcame psychological pressure and took chances to score goals,” Viet Nam’s coach Nguyen Tien Minh said after the match.
“Before the match, we carefully investigated Thailand’s strong and weak points and asked my players to follow the instructions of the training board.
“Vietnamese players played very intelligently and managed to suppress Thai power. That is the reason why Viet Nam could beat Thailand,” Minh added.
In the bronze-medal match played earlier, Myanmar defeated Malaysia 6-2.
With the advantage of physical strength, Myanmar played attack right from the first minute of the match. And Malaysia played defence-attack to stop the attack waves of their rivals.
However, Malaysian defenders couldn’t resist Myanmar’s pressure. In the eighth minute, Myat Noe Khin opened the score for Myanmar.
Before the first set closed, Myanmar scored three more goals to raise the score to 4-0.
After the break, Myanmar still dominated the match and they didn’t meet any difficulty opening the gap to 6-0 thanks to goals by San Thaw Thaw in the 40th minute and WS Tun in the 53rd minute.
Although Malaysia didn’t have any hope of levelling the score, they managed to narrow the difference to 2-6.
Elsie Celarryna scored a goal in the 59th minute and captain Anis Alshah scored another goal six minutes later.
The tournament, which kicked off on June 20, saw the participation of nine teams, including Laos, Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, and the Philippines.

Binh Duong beat HAGL to top the V-League

Becamex Binh Duong defeated Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) 4-1 in the 13th round of Toyota V.League 1 at Go Dau Stadium, topping the first leg of the national premier league.

The team now have 28 points to top 14 teams, followed by FLC Thanh Hoa (25 points) and Hai Phong (22 points).
With the support of fans on their home turf and skilled players, hosts Binh Duong overwhelmed their young rivals with an early goal by captain Nguyen Anh Duc in the third minute. Duc opened the score from a corner penalty in the left wing.
Taking a pass from Moses in the 21st minute, Au Van Hoan helped Binh Duong double the score to 2-0.
Meanwhile, HAGL had several chances to level the score, but their strikers couldn’t beat Binh Duong’s goalie Quoc Thien Esele. Even HAGL players were often in offside positions.
In the second half, three-time Golden Ball winner Le Cong Vinh easily scored another goal for Binh Duong in the 50th minute.
Attacking efforts earned HAGL a goal in the 72nd minute. Striker Sanogo Moussa put his header past Binh Duong’s goalkeeper to shorten the gap to 3-1. However, only four minutes later, receiving a pass from Oloya Moses, Nguyen Trong Hoang raised the score to 4-1 for Binh Duong.
In the other matches played yesterday, Thanh Hoa bested Dong Tam Long An 4-3, while Quang Nam defeated Khanh Hoa 4-1. Dong Nai lost to SHB Da Nang 1-2, and Hai Phong won Dong Thap 2-1.
Elsewhere, Quang Ninh Coal beat Song Lam Nghe An 1-0, and Ha Noi T&T won Can Tho 4-1.

Round 5 2015 national first division tournament

Having gained 3 points over CAND at Hang Day stadium in round 5 2015 national first division tournament, Coach Phung Thanh Phuong has put pressure under the top of game Hue football club.

At Dak Lak Coach Lu Dinh Tuan hosted new one of tournament. However this advantage wasn’t used well when they lost 1-3 against Binh Phuoc.

The confrontation between CAND and HCM club. HCM club was examined highly because of their stable form. In spite of visiting Hang Day stadium, Ho Chi Minh club was easy to control game and play their tactics.

However, in the first half, there was no goal. Both hadn’t been good at shooting. Therefore, HCM club played more highly in the second half. In 55th, Van Thanh opened for visitors. And that’s also the result of game. Ho Chi Minh Club continued standing at the second position of table with 3 points.

Round 7 of 2015 Ho Chi Minh City Futsal tournament

25th Game : Young Thai Son Nam – Le Bao Minh ( 13h00 28/06/2015)
Young players of Thai Son Nam attacked their opponents from the very beginning of match. Thanh Huy had chance to give a shot from the center of the pitch however goalkeeper of Le Bao Minh prevent him from being successful.  They also played carefully so that Young Thai Son Nam couldn’t execute their tactics. No goal was scored in first half.

Entering second one, Young Thai Son Nam’s weak defensing help Le Bao Minh’s Tuan Thanh open game. In 33th minute, Van Hoang doubled for Le Bao Minh. Yong Thai Son Nam decided to use 5 players nevertheless it seemed a wrong decision. Young players couldn’t keep calm so they lost more 5 goals against. Finally, Minh Tri scored one goal for Thai Son Nam and game ended 7-1.

26th Game : Sea Collections – MIE Sai Gon :

Game was thrilling from the beginning of game. In 2nd minute, MIE’s Duc Minh opened for  MIE Sai Gon. Then they continued putting pressure under Sea Collections.

MIE had one more goal in 23rd minute and Duc Minh also had one more goal in 24th minute. Sea Collections continued comming back when shortening distance to 2-3 by Ngoc Nguyen’s doubled goals. Ngoc Nguyen also scored two more goals, one was in the last minute of game, then Sea Collections won 4-3 over MIE Sai Gon thrillingly.
