Winning over SHB Da Nang in round 11, Ha Noi T&T had same points as B-Binh Duong and Thanh Hoa, they also gained the first position because of goal differences.

SHB Da Nang had to played higher to find equalizing. However because of shortage of connection between players, SHB Da Nang couldn’t create chance to approach Ha Noi’s net.

In 52th minute, Ha Noi’s Phuoc Vinh defeated goal keeper Van Hung to score second goal. In remained time, Ha Noi T &T missed many chances to raise score, and game ended with 2-0 for Ha Noi.

After this win, Ha Noi T&T had 29 points as same as B-Binh Duong and Thanh Hoa, however they stand at first position because of goal difference.

Two couples of the semi finals’ matches have been defined after the third day of tournament. Especially game between HCMC 1 and re-educational No.4 for last semi finals ticket was very exciting.

Both HCMC 1 and re-educational school no.4 also needed wining for the last ticket. Therefore, they created many attacks each other in most time of the first half.
Entering the second one, HCMC players quickly impressed audience by an opening of Bao An in 28th minute. HCMC players execute counter attack, re-educational school no.4 took chance to control ball. However, Khiet Tuong’s goal in 37th minute doubled for HCMC. Re-educational no.4 raised highly to find equalizing. In 38th minute, Thanh Khoa shortened 1-2 for re-educational no.4. HCMC won over opponent 2-1, they officially gained last ticket to semi finals.

The remained game of group A, Ha Noi quickly defeated Ca Mau 4-1. In group B, Ben Tre and re educational school no.5 were defined to play in the semi finals.

On May 30th, two semi final games will happen: at 8h00 HCMC – re-educational school no.5, at 9h00 Ha Noi – Ben Tre.

In the evening of the same day, at 18h30 all members of 8 teams will go around Ho Chi Minh City and take a sight seeing on Bach Dang river.

The American businessman, who also owns American football franchise Tampa Bay Buccaneers, passed away on Wednesday.

A statement on the Buccaneers’ website confirmed: “The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are saddened to announce the passing of Owner/President Malcolm Glazer earlier this morning at the age of 85.”

Glazer purchased United in 2005, with the Red Devils going on to win five Premier League titles, the Champions League and the Club World Cup under his stewardship.

And the club expressed expressed their condolences to the Glazer family in a short statement on their website, which read: “The thoughts of everyone at Manchester United are with the Glazer family tonight following the news that Malcolm Glazer has passed away.

“Malcolm leaves behind his wife Linda, six children and 14 grandchildren. Staff at Manchester United extend deep and sincere condolences to them all at this difficult time.”

The present champion Gia Lai in this season showed their fading performances when they lost two consecutive games against re-educational school No.5 ( 4-5) and Ben Tre ( 1-4).

In the second day of games, audiences were surprised continuously. Confrontation between Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh was ended 3-2 for Ha Noi. Both of them played equally, Ha Noi’s Xuan Viet excellently opened for Ha Noi in 15th minute. Entering the second one, 4 goals was scored in total. Ho Chi Minh equalized 1-1 firts, then Van Tuan and Hong Thai consecutively scored for Ha Noi. Ho Chi Minh finally scored one more goal and game ended 3- 2 for Ha Noi. Ha Noi therefor gained 6 points after two rounds and won ticket to the next round. Game between Ca Mau and re-educational school No.4 also ended 4-3 for Re-educational school No.4. Re-educational school No.4’s Huu Phong, Hai Trieu and Thanh Thao scored for their team. Then Minh Hieu and Trung Khoi were the one scored for Ca Mau. The most surprising thing is that, Gia Lai lost 1-4 against 1-4. Though having been leaded, Gia Lai couldn’t execute their tactics. Ben Tre in opposite had two more goals in second half and set 4-1 win for them. The present champion probably will have to leave game soon because of two consecutive losing. The Ho Chi Minh City 2 is also in the same  situation when they had lost 1-6 against Re-educational school No.5.

In the morning of May 27th, the opening ceremony of football tournament for underprivileged children- Hoa sen tole Cup 2014 was kicked off at Military Zone 7’s gymnasium. In the first match, host Ho Chi Minh city and Ha Noi have had convincing win over Re-educational school No.4 and Ca Mau.

Facing with players from re-educational school No.4 who own strong physical fitness, Ha Noi players showed their cleverness through attacks toward opponents and suitable tactics. From the very start of game, Ha Noi players has threatened re-educational school No.4 and the scoring was 5-1 for Ha Noi players at the end of the first half.

Entering the second one, Ha Noi continued to control game, Ha Noi’s Nguyen Hong Thai ( No.8) scored 5 goals and set 6-2 victory over opponents. The remained game between Ho Chi Minh and Ca Mau was exciting and thrilling.

Ca Mau opened scoring in the first half. However, Ho Chi Minh quickly to equalize. Entering the second half, Ho Chi Minh showed their better tactics and physical fitness, therefore hosts won 4-1 over Ca Mau.

Winning over the first position Dong Thap, Can Tho not only gained 3 points but also stop the top group in order to compete promotion ticket. Chiến thắng trước đội đầu bảng CS-Đồng Tháp, Cần Thơ tìm lại hy vọng giành vé thăng hạng. Two teams from the West are very decisive for this competition. Dong Thap wants to protect its first position. Meanwhile Can Tho wants to gain 3 points and stop teams top. However Dong Thap was the opener for game when Samson scored in 12th minute. Can Tho then scored two consecutive goals. And 2-1 was also the final result of game.

Because Sanna Khanh Hoa had won 1-0 over HCM to gain 17 poinst which is same as Dong Thap. Hue also won 3-1 when visiting Tay Ninh, in the opposite Tay Ninh stands still with 6 points.

In the remained game between Dak Lak and Ha Noi, Ha Noi’s Ngan Van Dai scored in 4 minute, however hosts continued answering with two goals before ending first half. Entering second one, Ngan Van Dai once more time scored for Ha Noi, and Thanh Sang set 3-2 win for Dak Lak in last minutes of game.

In the morning of May 25th, the closing ceremony of Sapporo Next champion 2014 was closed at Tao Dan sports center when the first title belonged to Cua Bien Ca Mau.

After 15 competition days at Tao Dan park, district 1, Mini Sapporo Cup has closed. 4 teams Bien Duong, Oc Tre Mot, Cua Bien Ca Mau and Hops Beer competed toughly in the semi finals.

In the first match between Bien Duong and Oc Tre Mot, Bien Duong players quickly showed off their power when set 6-3 win over opponents. The remained game between Cua Bien Ca Mau and Hops Beer, Cua Bien Ca Mau has passed Hops Beer 3-1 after two halves.

Entering the second one, Bien Duong squad played highly in order to find an equalizing. However Cua Bien Ca Mau scored one more goal. Finally, Bien Duong had shortened to 1-2.  Nevertheless, Cua Bien Ca Mau set 3-1 win over opponents in attack within last minutes so that they won the champions.

An Giang draws, Quang Nam wins

The host An Giang drew two-time champion Hoang An Gia Lai 3–3 in the most exciting match of the national football championship, V-League, yesterday.

Nigerian Felix Gbenga Ajala helped An Giang lead from the 19th minute, but his fellow countryman Felix Ogbuke tied the score in the 23rd minute.

Tran Minh Vuong netted the ball in the 49th minute to help Gia Lai in the first half time for a 2–1 lead.

The naturalised striker Dinh Hoang Max tied the score 11 minutes into the second half time.

Red-hot Nigerian striker Timothy Anjembe of Gia Lai made it 3–2 in the 57th minute; however, overseas Vietnamese Mac Hong Quan completed a draw for An Giang with a goal in the 67th minute.

The draw pushed the Gia Lai team to the seventh place in the table after 14 matches, while An Giang were still at the bottom.

Also played yesterday, Uganda’s Henry Kisekka and Dinh Thanh Trung scored two goals as Quang Nam beat Hai Phong 2–0.

The victory pushed Quang Nam to the 9th place with 16 points, replacing Hai Phong in the table.

Binh Duong, who did not play yesterday, still lead the championship with 29 points, ahead of Thanh Hoa, Ha Noi T&T and SHB Da Nang.

Nigerian striker Ganiyu Bolayi Oseni and Dinh Hiep scored twice to help Dong Tam Long An complete a 2–1 win over Quang Ninh on Saturday.

Having failed to net the ball in the first half time, Nigerian Oseni opened the score with a cannon shot in the first minute of the second half time before his teammate Dinh Hiep made it 2–0 in the 57th minute.

Nigeria’s Ikechukwu Uche pulled back a goal for Quang Ninh in the 65th minute.

Oseni would have scored a second goal in the match if his penalty shot had not hit the back of the net.

On Saturday, Phi Son helped the host Song Lam Nghe An lead 1–0 nine minutes into the game against SHB Da Nang, but Argentinean Martin Zbrun of Da Nang drew the match at the 88th minute.
