In the afternoon of October 19th, Viet Nam national Futsal team have their first match in ASEAN Futsal championships 2013 against Malaysia.

Coach Sergio and players are thought to have an easy game against Malaysia, however, the opponents were playing in active forms in order to neutralize Viet Nam’s tactics and skillful play. Phuoc Anh, Trong Thien, Hoang Vinh, Bao Quan and Thanh Dat are sent out. In the first minutes Viet Nam seems to control the game well. In 8th minute, an open for Viet Nam was scored by Thanh Dat, however, 2 minutes later, Malaysia was equalized by Zahari’s shoot. The red one play strongly and set the 2-1 win over Malaysia in 15th minute because of Xuan Du’s score. Thus, Viet Nam has an successful opening match to compete the two tickets of group A to the semifinals. In the afternoon of October 21st, Viet Nam will face Philippines.

Today ( October 19th) Viet Nam will officially start the ASEAN Futsal championships 2013 with the confrontation against Malaysia. Because this is not a strong opponent, Coach Sergio and his men are promised to have a big win at Thonburi gymnasiums ( Bangkok).

What a pity when Le Quoc Nam who had been called in the official squad got knee injury before the Thailand trip. However, two former players Trong Luan and Hoang Vinh back will replace and support for the whole team. Australia will also compete first time in this championships therefore Viet Nam will meet more difficulties in competing the top position.

Australian players are forecast to win the top of group B, therefore, Viet Nam should win the top of group A to avoid confronting with Australia. This is uneasy mission because Thailand is the big team we have to pass. In this game against Malaysia, Viet Nam should score many goals so that we can have advantages in goal difference.

Yesterday ( October 18th), Viet Nam have their first training day in Bangkok and the whole team seem to be very comfortable especially no one gets injury That’s why Viet Nam is hoped to bust against a weak opponent in this game.

After more than an hour flight from Ho CHi Minh City, Viet Nam Futsal Team lead by Mr Tran Anh Tu has arrived Bangkok ( Thailand) to prepare for 2013 Southeast Asian Futsal Championships. At this time, Bangkok continues get rainy, however all footballers are served well, Coach Sergio and his men aren’t effected.

After having arrived Bangkok, Viet Nam futsal team has moved to Riverside hotel. This is also the place for all teams who take part in this tournament.

Last year, Viet Nam was defeated by Thailand in the finals. This year, Australia’s attendance is promised to make tournament more exciting.

According to Futsal Viet Nam squad list, the Veterans Hoang Giang, Bui Van Thang has left and their places are replaced by younger talents as Vu Xuan Du, Ly Khanh Hung, Dinh Duc, Hoang Tuan Vu. Those players will cooperate with familiar ones as Bao Quan, Quynh Toan, Phuoc Anh, Buu Phuoc, Van Vu, Trong Luan…

As plan, today ( October 18th) Viet Nam Futsal team will have their first training day at Thailand and then their official game against Malaysia.

The results of this tournament is used as Asian Futsal Champs qualifying 2014. Because Thailand has ticket to the finals of Asian Futsal Champs already, if there are 3 tickets left.

That’s the reason why Viet Nam are high decisive to win the best result for the most interesting Futsal championships next year.
