The 2013 budweiser 6v6 cup football tournament is taken place from Mar 16th to April 7th at Tao Dan stadium dist.1 Ho Chi Minh city that aimed to held a healthy and useful game for whole Vietnamese citizens as well as football fans belonging to clubs in Ho Chi Minh City who take part in with friendly spirit and passion for football. 

A total 64 teams across the country will take to the pitch for qualifying rounds. Each side includes 9 members: 1 goalkeeper and 8 players. There are 6 ones official competing in 10 minutes per half, 6 meters penalty should be applied after a draw.

The champion behind Cup and souvenirs, they will represent for viet nam to battle with the Budweiser Cup 6v6 and have chance to watch the final of national Cup

(FA Cup ) in United Kingdom. In addition the second best best,third as well as excellent individual goalkeeper, players are also rewarded.

On Mar 23rd the second round was continued with games between: The Friends – DAF Hanoi (1-1) (after penalty). The HCM Blues – School FC (0-2) Bach Ho gas FC- ALP Futsal (3-0). Mi Ca United – happy life(1-2). TDW – Truc Linh Phong (5-4); Anna FC – BDSS (1-1) ( penalty); Anna FC won 9- 8 over VPB CF; CF-Friends won Tran Lu 5-; CBH FT- FC Set ( 1-1) ( followed by CBH FT’s 4-3 penalty).

On Mar 24th afternoon, 16 sides continued 3rd round to define 8 in and 8 out. Thus , 16 teams will be divided into 4 groups ( A – B – C – D ) with 4 teams in one, ranked scores and the two best of each group knock out the others in quarter – finals.

Though the championship has passed through 2 rounds, strong girls from Thai Son Nam- District 8 (TSN Dist.8) have showed off their strength with two impressive consecutive win against both Tanimex Tan Binh and Hong Bang international University. 

Tao Dan Dist1 kept their purpose of reality contact and experiences, therefore they were unsurprisingly defeated 11-2 by predecessor Tao Dan-dist 1.Right the 3rd minute, Thao Lan opened 1-0 for Tao Dan- dist 1, only two minutes later Hong Tran got a double. By the end of the first 20 minutes, the score was 4-0 for Tao Dan District 1. Tao Dan Dist1 young had conceded more 7 goals in second half their effort were rewarded 2 honor goals.

Confrontation between two strong opponents of HCMC Women ‘s Futsal TSN Dist 8 and the Hong Bang international University was really an interesting game. Hong Bang girls’ close tactic in first half balanced the match between TSN Dist.8 in first more than 10 minutes. However, TSN- dist 8 finally concretized their pressure on opponent’s goal by a 1-0 score come from Thi Chau. Hong Bang defense was very surprised, especially psychologically when getting 2 more goals for within less than 2 minutes later.

In remaining 20 minutes, each team scored 2 more goals; this 5-2 victory helped TSN Dist.8 stable in No. 1 with total 6 points after two matches. Tao Dan dist1 has to be ranked at the bottom because of no score. On 23 there are 2 matches between Tao Dan- dist 1 and Hong Bang international university; Tao Dan Children district 1 vs Tanimex at 17:30 and 19:00 in turn.

In 19/3 evening, HCMC 2013 women’s futsal championship opening ceremony was held at Thai Son Nam- district 8 indoor stadium. This year, many strong Futsal teams of HCMC such as Hong Bang international University, Tao Dan children- dist 1, Tanimex – Tan Binh, Tao Dan- dist 1 and host Thai Son Nam- dist 8. 

Right in the first competition day, two exciting games were taken place between Tao Dan children and Hong Bang international university, and host Thai Son Nam vs Tanimex Tan Binh. In the former, With outstanding experiences as well as professional skills it’s not difficult for Hong Bang girls to get a big 9-3 victory against district 1’s side. The most shining player was Ngan Giang from Hong Bang International University who has scored four goals, Thu Trang also got a doubles and the three remained goals by Kim Thoa, Bich Phuong, Bich Thuy. Thi No, Thu Xuan and Cam Hang were the ones who brought honorable goal for Tao Dan children-Dist 1.

In the later, home advantages were thoroughly made use of by Thai Son Nam Dist.8, from the very start of first half, Ai Nguyet scored opening 1-0 leading for host and in the 20th minute, My Hang continued scoring 2-0 for TSN District 8. Entering the second half Tanimex run up looking for a goal therefore the defense revealed too many gaps this caused them instead of shortened score, five more goal against within second half . Tanimex was ranked at the bottom because of its 7-0 fail in the first day of competition. With two consecutive victories in 6th and 7th round against Hai Phuong Nam, Metasol, Thai Son Nam Futsal club which had only 1 draw against Anna FC together with 6 wins in total 7 rounds has excellently crowned the lead of 1st leg. With19 points from 31 goals for and 13 goals against, Thai Son Nam-district 8 is deserved to be at No.1 before closing the 1st stage of this championship. 

Besides professional and strong Thai Son Nam, there are also many highly examined sides: Vinh Tien Dat, Tan Hiep Hung, Hai Phuong Nam. However at the end of the 1st stage, Anna FC was the only club that was able show off much by two consecutive victories against Tan Hiep Hung and Hai Phuong Nam, Anna FC has played so well that they easy to climb up No. 4 on the standing with 3 wins and 1 draw.

Though Dat Vinh Tien just got 3 points after last 2 rounds of 1st stage of 2013 HCMC Futsal championship, they hold No.2 position with 13 points. Though They had battled Networld 5-1 in 6th round, Dat Vinh tien couldn’t avoid in the next round being defeated by a violent component Thai Son Nam. Ending match within 40 minutes Dat Vinh Tien accepted a 1-5 fail.

Sai Gon FC and Networld down to the bottom of ladder because of pointless achievement after last two rounds of the first stage. Individual mistake adding weak defense of Saigon FC gave them 0-3 fail against Hai Phuong Nam in 6th

round. Though they had tried their best at the end of the first stage, Sai Gon FC had to end with a 2-3 defeat against Tan Hiep Hung. Networld is the young club participates this championship the first time, therefore their aims in this tournament are mainly to gain experiences. That’s the understandable reason why Networld is failed by strong opponents.

Thus, after 7 rounds of 2013 HCM Futsal Championship Thai Son Nam- Dist.8 temporarily leads with 19 points, followed in turn by Vinh Tien Dat and Hai Phuong Nam.

This champ is aimed to develop and improve level and training of indoor soccer (Futsal) for female players and coaches; to find and nominate talents for national team which is attending Asian Indoor Games in 6/2013 at Inchoen Korea and Seagames 27 in 12/ 2013 at Myanmar. 

Ho Chi Minh city Football Association organized “2013 HCM Women’s Futsal champs ” which is considered as the top women’s Futsal tournament for teams in HCM city. That is officially opened on the evening 19/3/2013 at Thai Son Nam Arena – district 8 including teams: District 8, Hong Bang International University, Tao Dan youth QI, Tanimex Tan Phu and Tao Dan QI. All teams will compete in rounds with final ranking score. The Tournament is expected over on 27/3/2013.

The prizes:

1. Champion: Trophy , gold medal and 10 million VND

2. Second-best: silver medal and 7 million VND

3. Third: medal and 5 million VND

4. Best player: medal and 1 million VND

5. 2012 LS Women’s Futsal Open: champion: Hanoi, second : Thai Son Nam District 8 and third : District I.
