The first two matches in 4th round of 2013 V – League, advantages resulted to the visitors. Besides noticeable games such as Thanh Hoa Hoa guessing at Hoa Lu against V.Ninh Binh , Dong Nai against HAGL , B.Binh Duong hosting visitors V. Hai Phong, the most worthy of wait game as well as this round focus host Hanoi T & T against SLNA was taken placed at Hang Day stadium. 

The confrontation between Ha Noi T & T and SLNA is always exciting. Last season two teams drew 1-1 at Vinh stadium. Two teams hold together 1-1 after 90 minutes, in the penalty at shootout, young players of K.Khanh Hoa defeated 4-3 U19 SLNA then officially won the champion 2013 U19 Cup national – Hoa Sen Tole. 

U19 SLNA is the highest potential candidate for U19 National Championship this year that was showed from the beginning. Not only won all matches in the first round SLNA but also won 1-0 over K. Khanh Hoa, therefore before the final game young men from Nghe An were certainly higher appreciated.

As expected, after referee had whistled, U19 SLNA raised line-up to create many dangerous situations towards K.Khanh Hoa. However, K.Khanh Hoa’s stable formation adding with their reasonable defense kept them away from U19 SLNA’s pressure. K. Khanh Hoa played carefully and waited for opportunity as a common situation of most all football games. The attackers hold ball most of time however there was a goal against instead of a goal for. In 35th minute Lam Ti Phong (8 )

received teamate ‘s long pass then lead the ball through two defenders for an exact finish which brought U19 K.Khanh Hoa 1-0 lead.

U19 SLNA was shocked, they tried to increase pressure on K.Khanh Hoa’s goalkeeper, and finally Van Chung’s goal in 75th minute had rewarded their efforts. A draw after 90 minutes let U19 K.Khanh Hoa and SLNA compete in penalty shootout in which U19 SLNA was beaten with 4-3 score. K.Khanh Hoa won the champion and 50 million VND, followed by SLNA with silver medal and 30 million VND. Two runners up were Ha Noi T&T and Ha Noi club received 20 million.

Coach Huynh Duc and players got 1st defeat in this season against representative from Malaysia Kelantan FC.SHB. Da Nang’s 5-0 heavy failure against Kalantan caused them off the No.1 position, from this Coach Huynh Duc and players should have recognized their weak point of physical platform when they seemed to be down for 3 champions: national cup, V-league and AFC. In the third stage of 2013 AFC Cup first round, host Sai Gon Xuan Thanh unexpectedly won 3 points over guest Selangor (Malaysia) at Thong Nhat stadium then up to co-holding 2nd position of group H with East Bengal ( India) by 7 points and less goal difference. 

Only Nguyen Sa was absent from squad before the confrontation with Kelantan (Malaysia), however, the SHB. Da Nang players were overloaded caused their first failure in this season. Right in the first half, goalkeeper Thanh Binh failed 3 times. Hosting advantage as well as strength of Kelantan helped them score an open in the 4th minute from Dickson, just 2 minutes later Indra Putra doubled for the host. Coach Huynh Duc changed his tactics when Hai Lam, Minh Phuong and Danny respectively were set in. Hosting the last standing, Selangor (Malaysia) who only got 1 point after 2 stages, Coach Tran Tien Dai and players determined to win. From the very start of match, Sai Gon Xuan Thanh attacked so much; however Sai Gon Xuan Thanh had waited to the open from Ndubuisi Oguwike’s shoot more than 20 m far.

Entering the second half, game was completely toward Saigon Xuan Thanh, however, they were witnessed a sudden situation in 66th minute when F.Doe started a quick attack in left wing and equalized 1-1 for the guest Selangor. 1 minute later, Ndubuisi Oguwike set 2-1 win for Saigon Xuan Thanh from an embarrassing situation in front of goal keeper Azlan. With 2-1final score Saigon Xuan Thanh is temporarily ranked at the second of Group H with seven points.
