In the morning of June 8th, the opening ceremony of  10th HCMC Journalism Association’s Futsal tournament – Thai Son Nam cup 2014 was taken place at Tao Dan park. In the first match, Tuoi Tre News – the present champions surprised audience when losing against TTXVN. Besides that, CA HCMC also lost against lead of HCM sports and VN sports.

Two candidates for Champions this year are Thanh Nien News and Tuoi Tre News. However they had different result in first match. Thanh Nien News quickly overwhelmed Sai Gon Giai Phong to win 7-1 over them meanwhile Tuoi Tre News who are present champions lost 3-2 against TTXVN.

Especially, the game between former journalists and journalist club was looked forward much.Many veterans as Tran Tu Van, Du Hai, Nguyen Nguyen, Ho Nguyen, Vu Thong…played enthusiastically and strongly because of high spirit. The journalist club won 3-2 over former journalists.

In other games, Khan Quang Do won over VTV 5-2, HTV defeated Phu Nu News 2-0. Having let lead of HCM sports and VN sports defeated, CA HCMC is going to face troubles to play in next round when they will meet HTV – the candidate for champion in the second round.
