Mourinho was appointed manager of Inter Milan in 2008, and the club finished top of Serie A in his first season in charge
yet more on field celebrations followed after Inter knocked Barcelona out of the Champions League in 2010, and went on to win the competition
Mourinho departed Italy for Real Madrid after that success, and his team won the Copa Del Rey in his first season in charge
But Barcelona’s dominance in La Liga denied him the title in 2010/11.

Real Madrid have endured a mixed 2012/13 La Liga campaign, a loss to Real Betis among some disappointing results which left them off the pace.
But Real have performed well against Barcelona, knocking their great rivals out of the Copa del Rey at the semi-final stage.
Mourinho got the better of old adversary Sir Alex Ferguson, knocking Manchester United out of the Champions League in the round of 16
However, Real bowed out at the semi-final stage for the second straight year after a 4-1 first-leg thumping in Dortmund left Ronaldo and co too much to do
