Having defeated Ghosts Team in the final round with 10-0 score, district 8’s women crowned the champions of 2014 HCMC women’s futsal tournament.

This year tournament lasted from August 20th to August 29th which attract 6 teams: district 8, Tao Dan district 1, Pou Yuen Vn, Passion SGFC, U&I company, Team Ghosts.

After four rounds, district 8 has showed their power when they won total four games with 34 goals for and 4 goal against. In the final round, facing a weaker opponent, district 8 quickly controlled game to defeat Ghosts Team 10-0. District 8 won the cup and 10 million VND. Ghosts Team won 7 million VND for runners-up and the third title U&I won 5 million VND. The best player was Vu Thi Huyen Linh ( district 8), The best goal keeper was Le Thi Thanh Truc ( U&I).
