Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola could take charge of the Qatar national team for the 2022 World Cup, according to reports.

The 44-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Bavarians in 2013, and a new deal has not yet been tabled.
Reports in the German press have now indicated that Guardiola could be tempted to lead Qatar when they host the showpiece event in 2022.
Guardiola, who was an ambassador for Qatar’s successful World Cup bid, spent two seasons as a player at Qatar Stars League side Al-Ahli and could extend his association with the nation further, having spoken of his desire to one day manage a national team.
