- One-match ban for Gabriel10:56 | 26/09/2015
Arsenal defender Gabriel has been handed a one-match ban by the Football Association after admitting a charge of improper conduct.
The charge stems from an incident in the Gunners’ 2-0 defeat to Chelsea last weekend when the Brazilian refused to leave the pitch initially after he was sent off by referee Mike Dean following an altercation with Diego Costa.
The FA subsequently rescinded Gabriel’s red card and three-game suspension upon appeal, but they have now meted out another punishment for the 24-year-old, which includes a £10,000 fine.
Costa, meanwhile, incurred a three-match ban after the striker was found guilty of violent conduct towards Arsenal centre-back Laurent Koscielny, while both clubs were also charged with failing to control their players during the fiery London derby.Source Foxsports
