The U16 Australian football team have arrived in Hanoi to prepare well for the AFC U16 Championship 2016 qualifiers, although they start only on September 16.

The Australians are in Group J – the matches of which will be organised at the Hanoi-based National Youth Football Training Centre – along with Vietnam , Guam and Myanmar .
They are the strongest squad in the group, but they have shown that they will not let that influence them.
On September 10, Australia had the first training session at the training centre.
In the opening matches, Australia will meet Guam, while Vietnam will face Myanmar.
