VFF Deputy President Cao Văn Chóng has offered congratulations and given out missions for Công Phượng when he plays at Sint-Truidense, Belgium.
On July 5th, Hoàng Anh Gia Lai FC held a ceremony to sign an agreement as Công Phượng will play at Sint-Truidense FC as a loan. Attendants at the ceremony consisted of HAGL FC Chairman Đoàn Nguyên Đức, CEO of Sint-Truidense FC Takayuki Tateishi and VFF Deputy President Cao Văn Chóng.
Stating at the ceremony, VFF Deputy President sent his congratulations and assigned missions for forward Nguyễn Công Phượng. Mr.Cao Văn Chóng hoped the Nghệ An-born striker will train and play well, through which promoting the image of Vietnam’s football and people.
He shared: “On behalf of VFF, I congratulate Công Phượng. Beside playing at the club, Công Phượng’s other activities also contribute to promote the image of HAGL FC as well as Vietnam’s football to the world.

Therefore, I propose Công Phượng has to continue to learn and improve so that every Vietnamese player becomes an ambassador to introduce Vietnam’s football and people when playing abroad. With the experiences in Japan and Korea, I believe that Công Phượng will succeed at Sint-Truidense”.
Besides, Mr.Cao Văn Chóng also sent his thanks to tycoon Đức for pioneering in young players training and Vietnamese players exports. He added: “I also congratulate HAGL, a pioneering club in international cooperation and young players training. Beside pinnacle, professional football activities, the establishment of HAGL-JMG football academy has been an inspiration for clubs, localities to focus more on young players coaching. It is the contribution of young players training centers that partly makes success of Vietnam’s squads during the last time.

Mr.Đoàn Nguyên Đức, by this way or other way, has had great sacrifices to Vietnam’s football during the operation of professional football over the last 10 years”.
Công Phượng will play for Sint-Truidense in Jupiler Pro Pleague 2019/2020 season (Belgian First Division A) in one year. At the new football club, the Vietnamese striker will wear the number 15 shirt with the expectation to score lots of goals for Sint-Truidense.
