Dung will not play two SEA Games matches

Midfielder Nguyen Huu Dung will not play in the two remaining matches of U23 Viet Nam in Group B’s qualifying round at the ongoing 28th Southeast Asian Games in Singapore.

Dung was injured in the match between Viet Nam and Laos on June 4. Doctors said he needed to rest for about five days to recover from his injury.
Viet Nam will meet Timor Leste on June 7 and Thailand on June 10.
If Viet Nam enter the semi-finals on June 13, Dung can rejoin the team.
Viet Nam top Group B after beating Brunei, Malaysia and Laos, and is followed by Thailand and Timor Leste.
