Coach Nguyen Huu Thang has officially signed with VFF to lead Vietnam national team.

He said that It was a special day in his career. And he also showed his happiness when receiving task to lead Vietnam national team. According to Nguyen Huu Thang this position is desirable one of many other coaches.

He was asked to lead Vietnam in to the finals of AFF cup 2016 and gaining gold medal of SEA Games 2017. However, no local coach was successful with this task before moreover they also had to resign after one league. Therefore he would try his best within his time.
