Winning over the first position Dong Thap, Can Tho not only gained 3 points but also stop the top group in order to compete promotion ticket. Two teams from the West are very decisive for this competition. Dong Thap wants to protect its first position. Meanwhile Can Tho wants to gain 3 points and stop teams top. However Dong Thap was the opener for game when Samson scored in 12th minute. Can Tho then scored two consecutive goals. And 2-1 was also the final result of game.

Dong Thap after this losing in spite of still having first position is chased by many teams behind. Because Sanna Khanh Hoa had won 1-0 over HCM to gain 17 poinst which is same as Dong Thap. Hue also won 3-1 when visiting Tay Ninh, in the opposite Tay Ninh stands still with 6 points.

In the remained game between Dak Lak and Ha Noi, Ha Noi’s Ngan Van Dai scored in 4 minute, however hosts continued answering with two goals before ending first half. Entering second one, Ngan Van Dai once more time scored for Ha Noi, and Thanh Sang set 3-2 win for Dak Lak in last minutes of game.
