In the evening of October 10th, at Tao Dan picth-dist.1 Ho Chi Minh Physics and Sporting Games – Football program 2013 was kick off in which Mr Mai Ba Hung- Mai Ba Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism Ho Chi Minh City, Mr Tran Dinh Huan- General Secretary of HCMC Football Federation ( HFF) , Mr Nguyen Tan Loi representative of Dist.1’s Sports center and Mr Nguyen Duy Thin HFF’s office manager.

Football games will happen from October 10th to 23rd which includes 8 teams citywide: Dist.1, Tan Phu dist., Dist.6, Go Vap dist, dist.8, Binh Thanh dist., Dist.12, Phu Nhuan dist at Tao Dan dist.1 pitch, Phu Nhuan pitch, Dat Duc, dist.8 and Cay Sop pitch. On behalf of HFF, Mr Tran Dinh Huan- General Secretary of HCMC Football Federation said: ” Ho Chi Minh Physics and Sporting Games is one of City’s important events which also receives many interest from  People’s Committee,  Department of Culture and Tourism Ho Chi Minh City, therefore this is also a chance for Ho Chi Minh’s football to select excellent individuals for the nationwide games in July of 2014″.

The first game belonged to group A between Dist.1 and Binh Thanh dist. was very exciting. Though Dist.1 was thought to be more advantageous, they lost to protect goal right in the first half. However, entering the second one, stars Huynh Hong Son, Nguyen Liem Thanh, Truong Quoc Dung specially cooperated with Coach Nguyen Hoang Minh ( Minh petit) brought dist.1 2 consecutive goals for and set 2-1 win over Binh Thanh dist.

In remained games at Phu Nhuan pitch: Phu Nhuan- Go Vap ( 4-2), at Cay Sop pitch: Dist.12 – Tan Phu ( 0-1), Dist.8 pitch: Dist.8- Dist 6 ( 2-1).
