Viet Nam Futsal team has an impressive first match against Japan in Ho Chi Minh international Futsal team 2013. Vietnamese players many times threatened  Asia champions. 

Japan ( white) hard to win Viet Nam

Viet Nam entered game by attack playing style, moving suitably to prevent Japan’s attack. Game was very exciting when Japan failed to come close to Viet Nam’s goal. 

However, with Asia champions’ class, Japan was clever to take chance when Yoshikawa under VietNam’s defense to score open for Japan in 16th minute. Right after that, Japan has one more goal by Inaba.

Viet Nam seemed to be dizzy after two goals against. Coach Sergio had to send time out to talk with players and adjust playing style. After that 18 minutes, Van Vu received ball from team mate to give a shorten to 1-2 for Viet Nam. 

In the second half, Viet Nam played more confidently. In 23rd minute, in a quick attack, Khanh Hung faced with Japan’s goalkeeper however there was no goal for Viet Nam. Then, the bar refused Van Vu’s shoot. The most pity situation when both Vietnamese players facing Japan’s goal but Trong Luan’s shoot from a narrow corner was refused by the bar.

In 34th minute. Hoang Vinh received second yellow card to leave game. Within 2 minutes playing with 4 players, Viet Nam was successful to defend against Japan but also had chance to attack and create dangerous situation toward Japan’s goal. Unfortunately, Bao Quan anh Thanh Dat failed to score a goal. Japan retained 2-1 win hardly. After game, Japan’s Coach  Rodrigo show his surprise and praise Viet Nam’s performance.
