After qualifying round, organization board of U-17 Thai Son Nam cup 2014 have defined 8 teams to play in the final round. Group A included Thua Thien Hue ( host), Ha Noi T&T, PVF, Binh Dinh. Group B: SHB.Da Nang, Sanna Khanh Hoa, Viettel and Binh Duong.

The finals of Thai Son Nam Cup 2014 will happen from July 16th to July 25th at Tu Do stadium – Hue City. 8 teams to play in the final round at Hue don’t include familiar SLNA who had won seven champion titles.

When SLNA stayed in the same group with Binh Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Nam in the qualifying round, they only gained 1 point after the last game against U-17 Thanh Hoa and gained 8 point in total that least than Binh Dinh 2 points and caused them to leave U-17 Thai Son Nam cup 2014 soon.

After 7 champion titles, U-17 SLNA had to accept to be audience in final round this year.

Thus, the best four teams of 4 groups: Viettel ( group A), Binh Dinh ( group B), PVF ( group C) and Binh Duong ( group D) have won tickets to final round. Four remained tickets belonged to present champions U-17 SHB. Da Nang, Thua Thien Hue, Ha Noi T&T who had 6 points but higher goals difference and Sanna Khanh Hoa.
