Viet Nam’s national U23 team lost to Japan’s fourth-ranked club JFL Selection 1-0 during their friendly match in Ha Noi on December 14.

Coach Miura has changed 6 positions in squad before this game. Minh Hoang was replaced Van Hien. Hoang Lam and Tan Tai were replaced by Duy Khanh and Thanh Hien. Dong Trieu replaced Trong Dai, Lam Ti Phong played in right wing, Van Toan was arranged to co-play with Ho Tuan Tai instead of Thanh Binh and Cong Phuong like lastest game.

JFL Selection players have spent two days of competition therefore they dont have good form in this game. This helped U3 Vietnam play easily.However, Vietnamese players could hold game equally within 20 minutes.

The team had earlier lost to Selection 0-4.

Viet Nam aim to gain experience via these matches to prepare for the 2016 AFC U-23 qualifiers that will take place in Qatar from January 14 to 20, 2016.

On December 17, the team will play a friendly match with Japan-based Cerezo Osaka Football Club at Hang Day Stadium.
