Vietnam’s men’s football moved up one spot in the World Football Federation (FIFA)’s ranking table, released on September 3.
Holding 152nd place, the country maintained its third position in Southeast Asia behind the top ranked Philippines – who was at a standstill at 125th but ahead of Thailand at 137th.
Globally, Argentina remained on top, followed by Belgium and Germany. The Wales team was at 9th place and ranked above England for the first time.
