Ho Chi Minh City Football club has announced their friendly match with U23 Vietnam when they are practising at Thong Nhat stadium. However, coach assistant Nguyen Thanh Son has confirmed that this game had been cancelled.

After game with Becamex Binh Duongm U23 Vietnam should have been play with Ho Chi Minh City FC at 16h00 on december 30th. However, U23 Vietnam players are highly concentrating on U23 AFC championship qualifying therefore management board had decided to cancel game.

Thus, U23  Vietnam had played only 4 friendly games before AFC qualifying, two of them were against Japanese club and one draw was with Becamex Binh Duong in the afternoon of December 27th.
