Defending champions Hà Nội FC were held to a goalless draw with Sài Gòn FC in the early match of the eighth round of the national premier league at Thống Nhất Stadium yesterday.

Hà Nội FC have many skilful footballers, however, they were unable to break the defence of their hosts.Both the hosts and visitors missed several chances to score, failing to open their accounts.

Currently, Hà Nội are third in the rankings with 13 points, while Sài Gòn rank eighth with nine points.
