HCM City will organise the first HCM City Open International Women’s Football Tournament, starting on November 4 at Thong Nhat Stadium.
This is the first time an international friendly event for women’s football will be held in Viet Nam. Four teams from Hong Kong, Myanmar, the Philippines ( UST Lady Booters club) and HCM City will compete from November 4th to 8th in Thong Nhat stadium.
The tournament will give national Vietnamese footballers on the HCM City team a chance to hone their skills in preparation for the third qualifying round for the 2016 Olympics this coming February in Japan.
Vietnamese girls had come back from a training trip in Australia and Japan. And they are practising at Tao Dan pitch under leading of Doan Thi Kim Chi. The whole team want to have successful performances before football fans and other teams.
