In Agust 7th afternoon, two semifinal games of 2013 national cup had been taken place. SHB.Da Nang had beaten the hosts Dong Nai 4-3 at penalty spot at Bien Hoa stadium, so that they put legs in the finals. The remained confrontation between Ninh Binh and DTLA, after official 90 minutes, the score was 3-3. The hosts DTLA had to accept 3-4 losing after the penalty fire. Ninh Binh won the last ticket to the finals.

On the advancing impetus after 3 wins at 2013 V-League, DTLA therefore didn’t hesitate to attack Ninh Binh at home. Phan Tan Tai should have scored a goal at 6th minute of the game but the ball beat the bar. Van Quyen scored an open 1-0 for Ninh Binh when the ancient capital team had a suitable tactics. 1 Minute later, DTLA’s Viet Thang lured goalkeeper when falling down in the penalty zone. Gilson’s penalty shoot had equalized 1-1 for DTLA.

Gilson’s second goal at Penalty spot equalized 2-2. Two teams continued with aggressive line. Ninh Binh’s calm helped them to score mone more goal to lead 3-2. However, in the last minute of the game, Viet Thang’s header equalized 3-3.

In the penalty shoots, Ninh Binh won 4-3 over DTLA to win a ticker to the finals. At Bien Hoa stadium, Coach Tran Binh Su and players had a impressive game against SHB. Da Nang when leading 3-1. However, the Han river team also gradually equalized 3-3. Game ended with 4-4 . SHB. Da Nang won in penalty  4-3 to face with Ninh Binh in the finals.
