The national women’s U19 team have been in training in Ha Noi since Saturday to prepare for the coming ASEAN Championships in August.

Thirty players have been practicing under coach Nguyen Duy Hung and his four assistants.
Le Thi Diem My has been named team captain with Bien Thi Hang and Nguyen Thi Thuy Kieu as her vice captains.
When they return to the capital, they will play five friendly matches with local teams at the Viet Nam Football Federation’s (VFF) Youth Training Centre.
The VFF has invited Uzbekistan’s U19 team to play two matches with the hosts on August 6 and 8 before their depart for the tournament.
The regional five-team event will be held in Thailand on August 16-27.
Viet Nam will play Singapore in the first match on August 18.
