Having set goal to gain runners up from China, Vietnam surprisingly lost 3-7 in the last game then standing at third position of China international Futsal tournament 2014.

Iran showed their strength when they won total 3 games to gain champions easily. Meanwhile Vietnam lost Iran and won Myanmar then they had same points with China. That’s the reason why they had to win over China to gain the second position.

Vietnam therefore entered game confidently, when they had put pressure under opponents, in 5th minute, Van Vu opened for Vietnam. However, they lost three consecutive goals in 5th, 6th and 7th minute. In 8th minute, a Chinese player had an own goal thus score was 2-3 for China. China then quickly scored 4 more goals, and set 7-3 win over Vietnam.

Vietnam won 3 000 USD for third position, Iran won 5 000 USD for champions, and China the runners up had received 4 000 USD.After this tournament, Vietnam will gather on August 17th to prepare for AFC futsal championship in Malaysia from 17th to September 28th 2014.
