Not only playing as central midfielder Hoang Thinh can also manage playing as centre defensive midfielder or playing at two wings effectively. In 2013 season, Coach Huu Thang trusted Hoang Thinh so much, this mid-fielder played excellently together with Trong Hoang in the first half of V-League 2013.
