To celebrate 89th anniversary of Vietnam journalism day ( 21/6/1925 – 21/6/2014) and to promote sports activities of journalism association as well as tighten solidarity between agencies, the 10th HCMC journalism association’s futsal tournaent- Thai Son Nam cup 2014 was held by Journalism association and Thai Son Nam company. 

Introducing and drawing

14 teams are divided into 4 groups: group A : Cong An HCMC, The Thao HCMC – The Thao Vietnam, HTV, Phu Nu News; Group B: VTV, Khan Quang Do, Nguoi Lao Dong; Group C: Thanh Nien, SGGP, HCMC Sports journalists club , VOH and group D: Tuoi Tre, Thong Tan Xa VN, Phap Luat HCMC. They will compete in round then two better teams of each group will be chosen to play in next round.

This is annual activity of HCMC Journalism Association, and this tournament will kick off in the morning of June 8th at Tao Dan pitch, this will last to June 14th. Besides,Primary sponsor Thai Son Nam, Ta Hiep Phat, Hoa Sen group, Nestle’ Vietnam, Geru start sports company, Ho Chi Minh football federation, Binh Duong ceramics company, Maseco, DP co.ltd, Nexus and Adidas Vietnam  also supported to this tournament.
Prizes: the first title will be awarded Cup, gold medals and 10.000.000 VND, the runners-up will receive silver medals and 5 000 000 VND and the third winners will be prized bronze medals and 3.000 000, the fourth one : 2 000 000 VND and the best playing style team will receive 2 000 000 VND. The individual prizes: the best scorer, best goal keeper will receive 1 000 000 for each of them. Moreover, prizes for the first division and serie B are 1 000 000 and 500 000.
