After a fairly long postponement due to Covid-19 pandemic, Vietnam Futsal League 2020 will be back from October 1st with 9 remaining matches of the second leg.
Kicking-off from June 14th, the second stage of Vietnam Futsal League 2020 has happened excitingly with drastic competitions. The present champions Thái Sơn Nam continue to prove their strength with 9 unbeaten games which help them become the champions of the first leg.
The teams of coach Phạm Minh Giang have 7 wins and 2 draws, score 43 goals and earned 23 points. They are 4 points clear from the second-ranked Sahako. Danang (17 points), Sanna Khánh Hòa (16 points), Sanatech Khánh Hòa (15 points) in turn stand at the next positions.
As the Covid-19 pandemic became complicated in some localities, Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) decided to postpone the league after the first leg finished on July 5th. And recently, VFF has determined the return day of the Vietnam’s leading futsal league.
Specifically, in accordance with the Accouncement 1066/TB-LĐBĐVN issued on September 10th, 2020, VFF decided to hold a technical meeting on the second leg of Vienam Futsal League 2020 on September 29th and gave out the determination that the matches of round 10 will take place on the upcoming October 1st at Lãnh Binh Thăng gymnasium (in Hồ Chí Minh City).
Thái Sơn Nam are currently the most successful team of the league with 7 trophies. They have either currently won the champion title for 4 consecutive times. If continuing the great performance like in the first leg, Thái Sơn Nam will make a new historic achievement in the league.
