On the occasion of 88^th anniversary of Viet Nam journalists (June 21^st 1925 – June 21^st 2013), Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association Futsal tournament which is supported by Thai Son Nam Trading Co.,Ltd is held to encourage sports movement among journalists, to meet and strengthen solidarity between news agencies in HCM. 

As expected, this year tournament will be taken place from June 9^th to June 15^th 2013 at Tao Dan pitch. 16 teams take part are divided into 4 groups: Group A: HTV, Viet Nam news agency, HCM sports journalist club, Nguoi lao dong news; Group B: CA TPHCM, Phap Luat HCM, Sai Gon Giai Phong, Tuoi Tre; Group C: HCM VOV, Khan Quang Do, AVG; Group D : Thanh Nien, Phu Nu, Sai Gon Tiep Thi and Thoi Bao Kinh Te Sai Gon.

They will compete in a round-robin format to choose the best of each group entering the direct compete round. Two teams at the bottom of standing table will compete at level B.

According to the rule, participants must be journalists (owning press card from 2010-2015), members of Vietnam journalists association (member card from 2011 to 2016), members of HCM sports journalist club and others belong to media agency.

Awards include: the champion of will win goal medals and 10 million VND the runners respectively will win silver medals and 5 million; bronze medals and 3 million VND; 2 million VND. The winner at level B will prized cup, medals and 1 million VND, followed up with 500 thousand VND. Besides that, there are others prizes: play style, plex lagoon king, best goalkeeper…
