With 6 points after 2 rounds, present champion CA HCM, Tuoi Tre News, Kinh Te Sai Gon and Thanh Nien had officially won tickets to quarter-finals. 

There has been a funny and exciting atmosphere which was created with much dramatic and thrilling games among journalists at Tao Dan pitch- dist.1. HCMC. Group A has showed its thorniness called ” group of death” with  dramatic games from the beginning of tournament, teams were unable to classify standing except that Nguoi Lao Dong was out,  HTV , HCM sports journalist club, TTXVN were still not able to hold tightly a ticket to quarter finals. 2 consecutive draws HTV- the candidate for champion only won 2 points, besides that, HCM sports journalist club and Thong Tan Xa VN also had 1 win and 1 draw that meaned they gained the same 4 points.

In group B. CA HCMC and Tuoi Tre had affirmed their strength successfully with 2 wins, thus Phap Luat HCM and Sai Gon Giai Phong were just 2 losers. In group C, VOH and AVG won 1 point after 2 rounds, with 1 win and 1 draw VTV and Khan Quang Do had won  4 points and the door to quarter finals are widen for them.

Thanh Nien and Kinh Te Sai Gon have showed their absolute power in group D with 6 point after 2 games. Therefore, Phu Nu and Sai Gon Tiep Thi will play in Seri B.

Group A: HTV – HCM sports journalist club 3-3. Thong Tan Xa – Nguoi Lao Dong 8-2.

Group B: Cong AN HCM – Sai Gon Giai Phong 2-1. Tuoi Tre – Phap Luat HCM 9-2.

Group C: VOH – Khan Quang Do 0-0, VTV – AVG 2-2.

Group D: Thanh Nien – Sai Gan Tiep Thi 4-0, Phu Nu – Kinh Te Sai Gon 2-4.
