Victory came to HCMC FC lately in the second half since Viettel showed their persistence just before revealing weak experience of a new team at the league.

With the advantage of playing home, HCMC FC got a dominant game.  Being different from the games at the season’s beginning, they preferred to attacking in this one.

The attacking duo of HCMC FC Matis Nocolas and Vinicius continued to be chosen by coach Chung Hae Seong, who wanted to take advantage of their speed and aggression.

Also in round 6, the team in the same city with HCMC FC – Saigon FC got a bold loss 0-3 against Than Quảng Ninh FC at Cửa Ông stadium (Cẩm Phả, Quảng Ninh).
