Different from the first match, Italian team this time played with the official squad in friendly with Viet Nam futsal team. However, in the later one, in order to give youngsters opportunities to experience and learn from the opponents, besides that, Coach Sergio wanted to choose the best squad in all positions. From the beginning of the game, the reserve line-up was sent in including goalkeeper. therefore It’s not surprising when Italy overwhelmed to open 1-0 in 11th minute. Nevertheless only 2 minutes later Viet Nam equalized 1-1 for an Italy’s own goal from Trong luan’s pass. Opponents scored consecutive 2 goals in 14th and 16th minute which had them head in the first half. In summary, Viet Nam was totally overwhelmed in the 1st half without any clear opportunity.

Within less than first 20 seconds of second half, Italy had raised score to 4-1. Viet Nam seemed to be broken, however Viet Nam had played more excellently. In 24th minute, Viet Nam missed a chance than it was rewarded another chance in 25th minute to shorten to 2-4. Which was based on Trong Luan’s 1touch pass and coopertation with Xuan Du, Quoc Nam and Van Vu.

In 32th minute, Xuan Du passed Khanh Hung to shorten to 3-4. In the 34th minute, Italy scored 5-3 because of Viet Nam’s fault in defense. In 36th minute, goalkeeper Dinh Thuan cut the ball and passed Trong Luan to score his second goal. The final result was 4-5 for Italy.

After 2 games against Italy’s team B, Viet Nam team has showed their growth more than last year. Our footballers competed with high speed in both games but the physic and tactic were retained. Specially, the attack tactics have been improved clearly. However, the gap between official players and reserve players is still quite large this would have to be improved in the future.
